Jobs in Human Resources and Administration Support

Office Manager

Office managers manage the office and typically are in charge of bookkeeping, facility handling, logistics, maintenance and vendor liaising. Training or supervision of employees may also be part of his or her responsibilities. The office manager does just about anything to keep the company running smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant

For large organisations, Executive Assistants typically support the top executives in their work. For smaller companies, they support the CEO or owner of the company. They usually support just one or two people and are usually assigned to handle confidential information and personal tasks from the boss. Many top notch assistants require 10 or more years of experience, especially for major companies and conglomerates.

Receptionist

The front line or the ‘face’ of the company, the receptionist greets people as they come in and answers phone calls. They may be tasked to do some data entry, reporting and keeping track of visitors. It is important for receptionists to have excellent customer service skills as they will need to give great first impressions to first-time visitors to the company.

Administration Assistant

Many people think of the admin assistant role as being one of the unsung, less glamorous jobs in organisations. However, within a company, workers will recognise that admin assistants can be indispensable to certain people and departments. This mid-level role requires the professional to have working experience that includes – but not limited to – setting up of meetings, travel arrangements, presentations, office coordination, correspondence, sales support, managing schedules, accounting, organising, retrieving and filing data as well as HR.

Generalist HR

Responsibilities include creating referral programs, updating HR policies and overseeing our hiring processes. To be successful in this role, you should have an extensive background in Human Resources departments and knowledge of labor legislation.

Ultimately, you will make strategic decisions for the company so that they hire, develop and retain qualified employees.

HR Consultant

The ideal HR Consultant will possess in-depth knowledge of human resource management. They will have experience in consulting as well as dealing with actual HR issues. They will be strategic thinkers and problem-solvers with excellent communication skills.

The goal is to maximise the value of the companies HR endeavors that will help business as a whole.
